The Artist and her Atelier

Welcome to J. Childs (Jaynè) Atelier, her residence for over 25 years, a lot of imagination built this amazing space from a giant white elephant, inspiring creativity to explode. Colours, shapes in a large assortment of materials, fuel this multi-medium artist’s palette.

Childs has explored many mediums and enjoyed marbling, copper embossing, large steel sculptures created with plasma cutters and torches. A painters brush capturing the eyes and character of subjects in watercolour/gouache/acrylic/ink is her true joy.

Inspired by muses and subjects to create art works that support important campaigns and causes, has become her passion and focus.
